Career[]
A former child actor, Bill is perhaps best known for his role as young Will Cartwright in the CBS-TV science fiction show Lost in Space from 1965 to 1968. He played the role Lennier in all five seasons of the syndicated science fiction series Babylon 5.
Bill also guest starred on an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He insisted on portraying a human due to his years playing Lennier on Babylon 5.
Mumy is also a musician and is one-half of the popular "novelty rock" duo Barnes & Barnes along with childhood friend Robert Haimer. The duo is perhaps most famous for their song "Fish Heads". He and Haimer co-wrote and starred in an animated short based on this song in 1982.
