I'll Never Forget What's Her Name was the Season 1 finale of I Dream of Jeannie and the 30th episode overall. Directed by Claudio Guzman, the episode, which was written by series creator Sidney Sheldon, first aired on NBC-TV on 12 September 1966.
Tony is struck by a vase and suffers from amnesia as a result. He instantly falls in love with the first woman he sees, Jeannie. Jeannie tries hard to jar the memory of Tony, who hit his head, which caused him temporary amnesia, but struggles with a half-hearted desire to do so, as he asks her, still not remembering who she actually is, the thing she has always longed for, to marry him despite Roger's fierce objections, as eventually, she and Roger are able to get him to recover his memory.
