About Nancy[]

Nancy is the cousin of Dr. Alfred Bellows, thus, also the cousin in-law of Amanda Bellows. She and her husband, Major Jamison (Herb Voland) and their son, Custer (Bill Mumy), are neighbors to Tony that live down the street from him. Nancy's husband works at NASA with Dr. Bellows and the astronauts.

When the Jamisons' son, Custer, who both admires and looks up to Tony as a role model, claims that he seen "beautiful blonde girl" appear and disappear while she was dancing with Tony. She, and her husband both dismisses it as their son having a vivid imagination,

While wanting to believe her son, she reluctantly and objectively sides with her husband, whose frustration with Custer's claims reaches a boiling point, as the Major exclaims: "Nancy, l simply cannot cope with him any longer. We need professional help for your son.", as she responds "My son? You're the one ordered me to have a boy!", as he then says back "Yes, but not this one!"
