Uncle Vazmir, one of Jeannie's uncles, appears in the Season 5 episode of I Dream of Jeannie titled "Uncle A-Go-Go". The part of Vazmir is played by veteran British actor Ronald Long.

When Jeannie's uncle Vazmir, along with his brother Azmire, with whom he constantly argues, visit her and Tony, they arrive to "interview" soon to be husband Tony. The two must approve of him as a prospective mate for Jeannie in order for the two to wed with the family blessing. In doing so, he and his brother pull out all the stops in getting info on Tony, while he is at home and at work at the base, as he disguises himself as General Schaeffer in doing so.
Although the two disagree about Tony, he approving of him and Azmire not, they both are able to come to an agreement that Tony is a suitable choice to wed Jeannie.
When he reveals to Tony that he had posed as the General, and that he and his brother approved of his marrying Jeannie, the General, along with Dr. Bellows, arrive moments later, as he and Azmire then pose as British Air Force officers visiting the base, and that they are putting Tony in for a medal!
